The Advanced class will help you take your dogs' training to the next level in reliability. Your understanding of the techniques of luring, shaping, and capturing to train behavior will grow as you teach your dog new skills - and continue to perfect many of the behaviors you began working on during Intermediate class, like loose leash walking, stays, and recalls!

New behaviors such as a foundational nose work game called "find it" (where your dog will use his sense of smell to locate treats hidden in the building), will be introduced. You can also look forward to fun training games in class too, designed to strengthen your dogs responses despite intense distractions, and much, much more...

If you and your dog have graduated our Intermediate class, you're ready for Advanced class. Oh, and don't be intimidated by the word "Advanced"... you're not yet "advanced" when you start class - but you and your canine friend sure will be, by the time you graduate!

Advanced class is also  taught using the principles of positive reinforcement, and the clicker method.

Please see below for details about class rules, including age requirements for children to attend class.

I haven't taken any of your classes with my dog, can I take your advanced class?

No, completion of our Intermediate or Greyhound Only class is a pre-requisite for the Advanced class.

Can my kids come with me and our dog to advanced class?

Kids 13 years of age and older can accompany their parent/s with the dog to advanced class. Kids 13 years or older can also handle the dog on the floor during class as long as our Handlers Waiver has been completed and signed by parent/guardian, who must attend each week's class with their child.

I can't attend the class I've signed up for, can I get a refund?

While we're happy to transfer you to the next available class, we do not offer refunds.

What happens if I miss a class?

Our specialty classes do not allow for make ups. You will receive your weekly training guide per usual, so you can stay current. Our trainers are more than happy to help should you have questions on anything you missed.
